Christmas Reflection

Christmas is a time of wonder and excitement.  A time to enjoy family and friends and rejoice in the birth of our Savior.  It also forces us into a time of reflection, looking back at the past year and setting resolutions for the new year.  

I’m not sure where you may be in your personal journey, but I have never had a year of challenges like 2021.  This year I have been challenged like I have never been before and have had to reflect and pause.  

I don’t believe in bad luck, but I believe bad things can happen to good people.   It’s how we respond to those challenges is what I believe is most important.  It is easy to be happy and faithful when things are going well.  But it isn’t as easy when things are going poorly.  

I feel like it is during the tough times that we truly grow and become more mature in our spiritual walk.  God is good and in our weakest moment we can lean into him.  He is the reason for the season! Happy Birthday Jesus! 

I hope that you all have many blessings in 2022.
