Catching Up with Lynn!

From Kate, RRM Team Member: We've asked our very own Rockin' Rodeo Mom Lynn Green (RRM Founder) to give us an update (or as I like to call it, a “Lynnterview”)! For those of you who haven't met Lynn, she doesn't just sell stylish cowgirl wear ... she truly lives the rodeo lifestyle both on her ranch and on the road. She's been quite the busy lady this summer, so we thought we'd check in on her and share an update!

Hi Lynn! What are three words that describe your summer so far? Busy, Challenging, and Fun!

What rodeos or other events have you traveled to this season? This year I haven’t traveled to as many rodeos because of the many family events and obligations. My son graduated college, so we went on a big family vacation. We figured with all of our kids starting their own lives, it would be difficult to plan in the future!

Good thinking. Congratulations to your son! So what’s ahead for rodeo?

I have had some lameness issues with my horse early this season, so I have been borrowing a horse and with that there has been a learning curve. I have been entering events closer to home, but plan to start my 2023 season strong in October.

Which results are you most proud of? I am proud to be entering the breakaway roping again. This year I have my son’s nice calf roping horse, so I’m dusting off my cobwebs and getting back into that again.

Tell us about your special dog Annie ... how's she doing? Annie is great. She makes me smile every day. She shows me to be happy for the simple pleasures of life every day.

Annie is so adorable. So, you're always adding fun and beautiful styles in your shop ... in your opinion, what's one new "must-have" in your shop for any cowgirl? (Or for a wanna-be, like me!)

Rockin’ Rodeo Mom cowhide bags are the “must have”! They are so stylish and affordable! Key word: affordable! The rodeo lifestyle is expensive, but your handbag doesn’t have to be!

I just want to add, because I have one of those bags, that it is tough as nails. I’m not gentle with anything, and my bag has held up so much better than my $300 purses of the past!
