First Week Back at the Rodeo!

The rodeo season is typically kicked off with Oakdale rodeo in April, but due to some personal delays,  I started my season last weekend in Stoneyford and Riverdale.  It felt really good to back at it!

I am seasoning a green horse, since my loss of my amazing horse Corona last year, so I am experiencing some growing pains.   Nonetheless,  it’s a part of the process and I can only hope that by staying the course, in time I can ride at the level that I was last year again soon.

This weekend is Mother’s Day rodeo weekend with Sonora’s Mother Lode Rodeo and Cottonwood Rodeo.  I’ve been working hard this week with some tune up on my horse….so let’s rodeo!
